Hi! My name is Emily, and I am a painter/ interior design enthusiast/ writer/ voracious reader/ furniture hunter/ eater of delicious things. I live in Brooklyn (Greenpoint to be exact) and work in Manhattan. This blog is my journal of things that I love - design, art, books, music, pattern, color, good finds, etc.
Before moving to NY in 2009, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Art History from the University of Central Florida. Having always wanted to live in New York at some point in my life, I moved shortly thereafter with two suitcases in hand and a three month sublet waiting for me on the Upper West Side. Once here, I decided I wanted to work within the design world, and started taking Interior Design classes at FIT. I am blessed to have found the job I was looking for, and to also be able to nurture my creative side by painting and running this blog! Also, I am an avid pinner and total instagram junkie.
